Beginning: With a fresh set of ideas and a desire to help individuals and families recover from addiction, Recovery Consulting Service was launched May, 2012. One year later, they expanded their office space to help meet the growing needs of the area's clients.
The space: The offices and receiving room are a confidential and comfortable environment. Counselor and client meet in a relaxed therapeutic setting, where sounds of nature, music, and the essence of essential oils abound.
No wait: Sessions are scheduled far enough apart that clients rarely see one another or have to sit in a waiting room, insuring privacy and confidentiality.
Technology: Recovery Consulting Service partners with www.meditationalbums.com to offer their clients state of the art counseling technology. This allows them to produce study guides, Struggle Reduction workbooks, guided meditation downloads, recovery apps., video counseling sessions, sleep aides, and much more.
Why it works: Clients enjoy attending counseling at Recovery Consulting Service. They know their concerns are being heard and they are learning how to enjoy recovery. The counselor/client relationship takes on the feel of a recovery partnership.
What to Expect
Complimentary phone consultations with a licensed addictions counselor are provided. This is to help the client decide if inpatient treatment or outpatient counseling is the best option for them. If outpatient counseling is indicated, a session is scheduled to occur usually within one week. If inpatient is needed, Recovery Consulting Service will provide referral information.
All sessions are individual, confidential and scheduled by appointment only. Recovery Consulting Service does not place clients in pre-set or scheduled programs. Instead they help each client develop their own individual recovery plan.
The number of sessions needed can range from several per week, to one session per month and everything in between. All counseling decisions are made by the client and counselor in a partnership atmosphere.
Your situation may call for anything from medication assisted treatment with counseling, to dual disorder counseling, anger and stress management, or couples and family counseling.
Recovery Consulting Service believes in an integrated approach and has established relationships with other healthcare providers to include inpatient treatment programs, psychiatrists & psychiatric nurse practitioners, and doctors certified to prescribe Suboxone.
At Recovery Consulting Service, the goal is to help clients develop a meaningful enjoyable, productive life without abusing addicting drugs and alcohol.
